Anita Braha is a progressive lawyer (non-practicing status) and Board Director. She brings a deep commitment to social justice issues and strong and integrated leadership to her work.
Her law practise was focused on human rights, equality, labour and employment issues. Based in British Columbia, Ms. Braha was called to the bar in both Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. She worked with clients to develop respectful workplaces in accordance with human rights obligations and sound labour and employment practices.
As a Board Director, Ms. Braha provides legal, governance and facilitation skills to the Boards she serves. She has chaired Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union, a 27 billion dollar community based organization and sits on the board of other regulated and non-profit organization boards.
